Saint James' Episcopal Church - Hackettstown, New Jersey

Burial

The Office for the Burial of the Dead, our liturgy commonly known as a funeral, is a liturgy of celebration for the life of the deceased. Christian burial in the Episcopal Church is normally done in the church, most often in the context of the Eucharist. Forms are available for you to plan your funeral in advance of your death, and then they are kept on file and may be updated as you wish.

The St. James' Columbarium offers a permanent resting place for cremated remains in the chapel. Niches are available for people who are pre-planning for location of their remains as well as for families who are in immediate need of a place for loved ones’ remains.
