Soup-er Bowl

Episcopal Appalachian Ministries

Teens and Adults spend one week each summer repairing homes in the Appalachian region of southwest Virginia

30 Hour Famine

Young people fast for 30 hours in order to learn about hunger in our world and raise money for the hunger relief organization, World Vision

The Backpack Program

In cooperation with NORWESCAP and The United Way of Warren County, St. James' volunteers assemble backpacks of nutritious foods weekly for hungry children in the elementary schools of Hackettstown.

"Soup-er Bowl" Sunday

We join with communities all over America as we collect money in soup bowls on Super Bowl Sunday. The funds are used for local hunger efforts, like food pantries and soup kitchens.

Hackettstown Food Pantry at Trinity UMC

Year-round we bring non-perishable food items in support of the local food pantry which serves hundreds each month.

Holiday Outreach

Special feast days, like Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving, we assist local families with holiday and basic food items.

Christmas gifts for local children & families in need.
